Women AND men are welcome!

Balancing Workshop

March 16, 2019

2-3:30pm with Kate Salvatori

Eagle, Dancer, Half-Moon...What do all of these asana have in common?

A sense of balance means more than being able to stand on one foot! True balance in yoga means physical, mental, and emotional stability. Finding your center and being able to remain steady while balancing will improve your focus, relieve stress, and help you to deal with difficult situations. You'll learn to approach challenges with calm awareness, both on and off the mat.

Join us for a workshop centered around these balance poses and more!

Fundraising Yoga Class

Saturday, March 30

5-6:30pm with Danielle Cosgrove

AYP, African Yoga Project, is an AMAZING outreach program. In Nairobi, 70% of young adults are unemployed. Unemployment often leads to unhealthy living conditions, drugs, alcohol, stealing, fighting.... WE ARE DISRUPTING THE DRIFT by making yoga accessible in these communities and not only that but by GIVING YOUNG PEOPLE the opportunity to go through training and gain employment in the wellbeing industry. Last year we raised over $6,000 - that's enough to put THREE young Africans through 200 hour yoga teacher training + have them enter Africa Yoga Project's 3-year academy. Danielle Cosgrove, our very own Warrior from Orlando, will be leading a 90 minute class to support AYP.

Suggested donation for class is $25 (but no one will be turned away, of course! everything counts)

Men’s Workshop

Saturday, April 13, 2019

2-3:30pm with Scott Gobetz

“I am not flexible, and I am going to look ridiculous.” That’s what I hear the most from men about yoga. Don’t worry about either thing. You need to be more flexible and no one cares what you look like.

Come spend and 1.5 hours with Scott Gobetz, learning about why you need to do yoga. With many benefits for mind and body, yoga has changed my life. We will also finish with a beer and make a plan to get you started on your yoga journey.
